All patches have been dropped, they're either redundant (e.g. due to the
new and unset CONFIG_SPL_FAT_WRITE), break compilation (thumb hacks) or
have been applied upstream.
The defconfig for am335x_boneblack has been removed upstream [0], so use
am335x_evm for boneblack too.

Tested on boneblack, which has the biggest spl size increase. The beagle and

Even it's unknown if it's booting with thumb, because the lack of hardware.
Enable it for now, so the build succeed, because without thumb it can not fit
into spl.

The beagleboard doesn't boot with Thumb enabled, but without Thumb the
SPL (first stage bootloader) is too big to fit into SRAM.

Specifying USE_PRIVATE_LIBGCC is no longer needed, as it is the
default.
Patch 001 is removed, since it was already merged upstream. Patches
100 and 101 are removed because they do not appear to be needed
anymore, and they do not conform with the sign-off and commit message
procedures.

- remove upstream patches
- disable THUMB mode on OMAP3 this increases binary size
(remove CONFIG_SYS_THUMB_BUILD)
- reduce SPL size by disabling EXT feature
(remove CONFIG_SPL_EXT_SUPPORT)
this fixes 2015.07 and 2015.10-rc3

Arm THUMB mode is broken because of an yet unknown errata
