* mediatek: fix Unifi 6LR network configStijn Tintel2022-09-201-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When the v1 and v2 variants of the U6LR were introduced, the board network config was not adapted to the new device names. Due to this, the wrong network config is applied during initial boot. The resulting config has lan, wan and a switch, while this device only has a single ethernet interface without a switch. Fix this by using a wildcard that matches all the variants. Fixes: 15a02471bb85 ("mediatek: new target mt7622-ubnt-unifi-6-lr-v1") Fixes: 5c8d3893a78f ("mediatek: new target ubnt_unifi-6-lr-v1-ubootmod") Fixes: 31d86a1a1192 ("mediatek: add Ubiquiti UniFi 6 LR v2 targets") Signed-off-by: Stijn Tintel <stijn@linux-ipv6.be> Acked-by: Daniel Golle <daniel@makrotopia.org> (cherry picked from commit 117f41ee95ec445dce5ab9332bc27a6311747c0d)
* mediatek: fix ledbar of UniFi 6 LR when running custom U-BootDaniel Golle2022-09-181-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | The RGB LED of the UniFi 6 LR v1 doesn't work when using the Openwrt- built U-Boot. This is because the vendor loader resets the ledbar controller while our U-Boot doesn't care. Add reset-gpio so the ledbar driver in Linux will always reset the ledbar controller. * generic: move ledbar driver from mediatek targetSven Wegener2022-09-182-284/+0
| | | | | | | This moves the ledbar driver to generic, to be also used by the ramips target. Signed-off-by: Sven Wegener <sven.wegener@stealer.net> (cherry picked from commit 53fc987b25524c28525313347f0e2e5653dce43c)
* mediatek: add led countSven Wegener2022-09-181-1/+7
| | | | | | | | | | The LEDs connected to the MCU are so-called smart LEDs and their signal is daisy-chained. Because of this, the MCU needs to be told how many LEDs are connected. It also means the LEDs could be individually controlled, if the MCU has a command for this. * mediatek: add initialization after resetSven Wegener2022-09-181-0/+14
| | | | | | | | | During GPIO initialization the pin state flips and triggers a reset of the ledbar MCU. It needs to be moved through an initialization sequence before working correctly. * mediatek: add support for reset gpioSven Wegener2022-09-181-0/+26
| | | | | | | | Some versions of the ledbar MCU have a reset pin. It needs to be correctly initialized or we might keep the MCU in reset state. Signed-off-by: Sven Wegener <sven.wegener@stealer.net> (cherry picked from commit 84e4bbf5f049cdb862eb25c446bd6973ed4238aa)

* mediatek: cast literal value to charSven Wegener2022-09-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Or the comparison against a signed char is always true, because the literal 0xaa is treated as an unsigned int, to which the signed char is casted during comparison. 0xaa is above the positive values of a signed char and negative signed char values result in values larger than 0xaa when casted to unsigned int. * mt7622: remove 300 MHz from dtsJohn Audia2022-07-191-0/+25
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Due to the bug described here[1], remove the 300 MHz clock to avoid a low voltage condition that can cause a hang when rebooting the RT3200/E8450. This solution is probably better than the script-based work-around[2]. 1. https://forum.openwrt.org/t/belkin-rt3200-linksys-e8450-wifi-ax-discussion/94302/1490 2. https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/5025 Signed-off-by: John Audia <therealgraysky@proton.me> Tested-by: Rui Salvaterra <rsalvaterra@gmail.com> Tested-by: John Audia <therealgraysky@proton.me> (cherry picked from commit d0d6b8e1833c587d0c50cac4f6324aa93b0bc8fc) [ fix the conflict by apply the patch to kernel 5.10 ] Signed-off-by: Christian Marangi <ansuelsmth@gmail.com>
* kernel: Add missing mediatek configuration optionsHauke Mehrtens2022-07-061-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | When building the mediatek/mt7629 target in OpenWrt 22.03 the kernel does not have a configuration option for CONFIG_CRYPTO_DEV_MEDIATEK. Add this option to the generic kernel configuration and also add two other configuration options which are removed when we refresh the mt7629 kernel configuration. * mediatek: mt7622: fix white dome LED of UniFi 6 LRDaniel Golle2022-07-041-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | The recent differentiation between v1 and v2 of the UniFi 6 LR added support for the v2 version which has GPIO-controlled LEDs instead of using an additional microcontroller to drive an RGB led. The polarity of the white LED, however, was inverted and the default states didn't make a lot of sense after all. Fix that. * mediatek: mt7622: remove '0x' prefix from pstore address in dtsDaniel Golle2022-04-231-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Adresses of device tree nodes are typically noted without the '0x' prefix. While having the '0x' prefix doesn't hurt when using Linux, more recent versions of U-Boot will add a duplicate ramoops node as a simple string compare is used to check if the node is already present. Remove the '0x' prefix to avoid the kernel warning resulting from U-Boot adding a dupplicate pstore/ramoops node. | | | | | | | | | | Enable support for allocating user space page table entries in high memory [1], for the targets which support this feature. This saves precious low memory (permanently mapped, the only type of memory directly accessible by the kernel). * mt7622: linksys-e8450: enable using mt7531 switch irqDaniel Golle2022-02-101-0/+4
| | | | | | | | Turns out the MT7531 switch IRQ line is connected to GPIO#53 just like on the BPi-R64, so this seems to be part of the reference design and will probably apply to most MT7622+MT7531 boards. Signed-off-by: Daniel Golle <daniel@makrotopia.org>
* mt7622: bpi-r64: enable using mt7531 switch irqDaniel Golle2022-02-101-0/+13
| | | | | | | | | | Now that we support link-state-change interrupts, wire up MT7531 IRQ line which is connected to GPIO#53 according to the schematics [1]. As a result, PHY state no longer needs to be polled on that board. [1]: https://forum.banana-pi.org/t/bpi-r64-mt7622-schematic-diagram-public/10118 Signed-off-by: Daniel Golle <daniel@makrotopia.org>
