* ath79: remove redundant mtd-mac-address for wmacAdrian Schmutzler2019-10-271-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | For several devices, wmac MAC address is set from art 0x1002 explicitly by using mtd-mac-address although mtd-cal-data is pulled from art 0x1000. With the MAC address in 0x1002, the driver should automatically use it when reading caldata from 0x1000. Thus, remove the redundant mtd-mac-address for those devices. * ath79: convert devices to interrupt-driven gpio-keysAdrian Schmutzler2019-09-221-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This converts all remaining devices to use interrupt-driven gpio-keys compatible instead of gpio-keys-polled. The poll-interval is removed. Only ar7240_netgear_wnr612-v2 is kept at gpio-keys-polled, as this one is using ath9k keys. * ath79: eg200: enable status led usageKarl Palsson2019-09-151-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | This enables using the "eTactica" LED during boot, to indicate failsafe, and during upgrade, while still leaving the LED alone for normal operation. This brings the device more in line with how other devices work, and makes the failsafe functionality easier to use and understand. Signed-off-by: Karl Palsson <karlp@etactica.com>
* ath79: etactica-eg200: fix restore buttonKarl Pálsson2019-08-311-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | The button is labelled reboot/restore in documentation, and has always been used for that. Naming it WPS has always been wrong. Signed-off-by: Karl Pálsson <karlp@etactica.com> [matched author to SoB] Signed-off-by: Christian Lamparter <chunkeey@gmail.com>
* ath79: fix pinmux for ar933x devicesPaul Wassi2019-05-151-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Properly disable the SoC's internal Switch LEDs on the pinmux. Devices that previously called ath79_gpio_function_disable for the switch LEDs, just need to reference switch_led_pins in the pinctrl-0 property of the gpio-leds node. Signed-off-by: Paul Wassi <p.wassi@gmx.at> [changed desired pinctrl register value from 0x1f to proper 0xf8] Signed-off-by: Chuanhong Guo <gch981213@gmail.com> [renamed pinmux name to switch_led_disable_pins to make purpose more clear] Signed-off-by: Petr Štetiar <ynezz@true.cz>
* treewide: dts: Remove default-state=off property from all gpio LED nodesPetr Štetiar2018-12-171-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | >From the Documentation/devicetree/bindings/leds/common.txt: - default-state : The initial state of the LED. Valid values are "on", "off", and "keep". If the LED is already on or off and the default-state property is set the to same value, then no glitch should be produced where the LED momentarily turns off (or on). The "keep" setting will keep the LED at whatever its current state is, without producing a glitch. The default is off if this property is not present. So setting the default-state of the LEDs to `off` is redundant as `off` is default LED state anyway. We should remove it as almost every new PR/patch submission contains this property by default which seems to be just copy&paste from some DTS file already present in the tree. * ath79: add SoC or family compatibleMathias Kresin2018-12-061-1/+1
| | | | | | | Add missing SoC specific compatibles and/or inherit the family compatibles like "ubnt,xm". Signed-off-by: Mathias Kresin <dev@kresin.me>
* ath79: Define firmware partition format to all boards where applicablePetr Štetiar2018-12-061-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Parsing "firmware" partition (to create kernel + rootfs) was implemented using OpenWrt downstream code enabled by CONFIG_MTD_SPLIT_FIRMWARE. With recent upstream mtd changes we can do it in a more clean way for DTS targets. It just requires adding a proper "compatible" string to the "firmware" partition node. * ath79: fix dts warningsMathias Kresin2018-08-081-4/+0
| | | | | | | Fix all issues found by the devicetree compiler like wrong address/size cells as well as wrong/missing/superfluous unit addresses. Signed-off-by: Mathias Kresin <dev@kresin.me>
* ath79: fix whitespace issue in dts filesMathias Kresin2018-08-081-3/+3
| | | | | | Fixes spaces vs. tabs issues and remove indentation on blank lines. Signed-off-by: Mathias Kresin <dev@kresin.me>
* ath79: rename dts/image using manufacturer_board schemeChuanhong Guo2018-08-061-0/+134
This helps getting rid of SUPPORTED_DEVICES which can be auto-generated in image/Makefile. Signed-off-by: Chuanhong Guo <gch981213@gmail.com>
