| | | | | | | | | | | | | This is now built-in, enable so it won't propagate on target configs. Link: https://lkml.org/lkml/2022/1/3/168 Fixes: 79e7a2552e89 ("kernel: bump 5.15 to 5.15.44") Fixes: 0ca93670693b ("kernel: bump 5.10 to 5.10.119") Signed-off-by: Tomasz Maciej Nowak <tmn505@gmail.com> (Link to Kernel's commit taht made it built-in, CRYPTO_LIB_BLAKE2S[_ARM|_X86] as it's selectable, 5.10 backport) Signed-off-by: Christian Lamparter <chunkeey@gmail.com> (cherry picked from commit 539e60539a2fde6531bd179c94bb9c7f8f490f2b)
* at91: remove pm debug features from sama5 kernel configClaudiu Beznea2022-02-261-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Remove PM debug features from sama5 kernel config. It is not necessary to have it on production code. This also fixes the build for sama5 target after commit 97158fe10e60 ("kernel: package ramoops pstore-ram crash log storage) Fixes: 97158fe10e60 ("kernel: package ramoops pstore-ram crash log storage") Signed-off-by: Claudiu Beznea <claudiu.beznea@microchip.com>
* at91: add kernel support for sama7g5 socClaudiu Beznea2022-02-241-4/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add kernel support for SAMA7G5 by back-porting mainline kernel patches. Among SAMA7G5 features could be remembered: - ARM Cortex-A7 - double data rate multi-port dynamic RAM controller supporting DDR2, DDR3, DDR3L, LPDDR2, LPDDR3 up to 533MHz - peripherals for audio, video processing - 1 gigabit + 1 megabit Ethernet controllers - 6 CAN controllers - trust zone support - DVFS for CPU - criptography IPs Signed-off-by: Claudiu Beznea <claudiu.beznea@microchip.com>
* kernel: filter out both Clang and LLD versionsSergey Ryazanov2021-12-171-1/+0
| | | | | | | | Both CLANG_VERSION and LLD_VERISON are autogenerated runtime configuration options, so add them to the kernel configuration filter and remove from generic and per-target configs to keep configs clean. Signed-off-by: Sergey Ryazanov <ryazanov.s.a@gmail.com>
* kernel: Set some options in generic configurationHauke Mehrtens2021-11-021-1/+0
| | | | | | | Add CONFIG_USB_ETH and CONFIG_PWM_JZ4740 to generic kernel configuration. Signed-off-by: Hauke Mehrtens <hauke@hauke-m.de>
* at91: kernel: bump to 5.10Claudiu Beznea2021-10-241-84/+26
| | | | | | | | | | | | Bump at91 targets to kernel v5.10. With this patches and files for wb45n and wb50n were removed as they are now included in upstream kernel. Along with: - this the kernel config for sama5d2 and sam9x targets has been refreshed (with make kernel_menuconfig + save); - CONFIG_ARCH_AT91 and specific sam9x SoCs (AT91RM9200, AT91SAM9, SAM9X60) has been enabled such that sam9x SoCs to be able to boot. * kernel: move some drm symbols to generic configTomasz Maciej Nowak2021-06-131-1/+0
| | | | | | These are architecture independent, so move them to generic config. Signed-off-by: Tomasz Maciej Nowak <tmn505@gmail.com>
* treewide: switch the timer frequency to 100 HzRui Salvaterra2021-04-211-2/+0
| | | | | | | | Some targets select HZ=100, others HZ=250. There's no reason to select a higher timer frequency (and 100 Hz are available in every architecture), so change all targets to 100 Hz. Signed-off-by: Rui Salvaterra <rsalvaterra@gmail.com>
* treewide: remove redundant ubifs kconfig symbolsRui Salvaterra2021-04-211-4/+0
| | | | | | | For the targets which enable ubifs, these symbols are already part of the generic kconfigs. Drop them from the target kconfigs. Signed-off-by: Rui Salvaterra <rsalvaterra@gmail.com>
* treewide: do not disable LED triggers in target configSungbo Eo2021-01-151-1/+0
| | | | | | | Those targets have already enabled some other LED triggers, so enabling a few more won't be a big problem. Signed-off-by: Sungbo Eo <mans0n@gorani.run>
* kernel: enable CONFIG_LEDS_TRIGGER_HEARTBEATSungbo Eo2021-01-151-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | The heartbeat trigger is used by luci-mod-system, which is installed as a part of the standard luci package set. It seems the LED trigger will be required quite often, so let's enable it by default. This increases uncompressed kernel size by about 100 bytes on ath79/generic. Signed-off-by: Sungbo Eo <mans0n@gorani.run>
* kernel: move some disabled symbols to genericAleksander Jan Bajkowski2020-12-221-1/+0
| | | | | | Move some disabled config options found in lantiq target to generic. Signed-off-by: Aleksander Jan Bajkowski <A.Bajkowski@stud.elka.pw.edu.pl>

* at91: Merge SAMA5 subtargetsHauke Mehrtens2019-05-302-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | Instead of maintaining 3 very similar subtargets merge them into one. This does not use the Arm NEON extension any more, because the SAMA5D3 does not support NEON. Signed-off-by: Hauke Mehrtens <hauke@hauke-m.de> Tested-by: Sandeep Sheriker <sandeepsheriker.mallikarjun@microchip.com>
* at91: reorganize at91 subtargetsSandeep Sheriker Mallikarjun2018-05-052-61/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | reorganizing at91 subtargets based on sama5 soc features and this fix below problems. 1. able to set neon flags to sama5d2 & sama5d4 subtargets. 2. fix the make clean which removes all the subtargets in bin folder. 3. able to configure kernel specific to subtarget. 4. able to set vfpu4 flags to samad3 subtargets. Signed-off-by: Sandeep Sheriker Mallikarjun <sandeepsheriker.mallikarjun@microchip.com>
* at91: sama5: remove neon and VFPv4 supportSandeep Sheriker Mallikarjun2018-04-301-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | sama5d2 & samad4 have neon feature and sama5d3 does not have neon feature due to which sama5d3 boot fails with error message Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x00000004. removing neon & VFPv4 support to fix this Signed-off-by: Sandeep Sheriker Mallikarjun <sandeepsheriker.mallikarjun@microchip.com>
* at91: sama5: activate fpuHauke Mehrtens2018-01-021-0/+2
