* ltq-vdsl/ltq-adsl: fix elapsed time calculationJan Hoffmann2022-06-071-0/+122
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The driver maintains elapsed times by repeatedly accumulating the time since the previous update in a loop. For the elapsed showtime time, the time difference is truncated to seconds before adding it, leading to a sizable error over time. Move the truncation to before calculation of the time difference in order to remove this error. Also maintain the total elapsed time in the same way in full seconds, to prevent the unsigned 32-bit counter from wrapping around after about 50 days. Testing on a VR9 device shows that the reported line uptime now matches the actual elapsed wall time. The ADSL variant is only compile-tested, but it should also work as the relevant code is identical. * ltq-vdsl: move to the default device name /dev/dsl_cpe_api/0Andre Heider2022-01-081-2/+2
| | | | | | | This makes patching it for ltq-vdsl-app unnecessary and paves the way for VRX518 support. Signed-off-by: Andre Heider <a.heider@gmail.com>
* lantiq: ltq-vdsl: add kernel 5.10 compatiblityMathias Kresin2021-04-121-4/+16
| | | | | | | The pgprot argument to __vmalloc is always PAGE_KERNEL now and was removed. Signed-off-by: Mathias Kresin <dev@kresin.me>
* lantiq: ltq-vdsl: fix compilation with Linux 5.0+Martin Blumenstingl2020-03-161-3/+24
| | | | | | | | | Upstream commit e4b92b108c6cd6 ("timekeeping: remove obsolete time accessors") removed do_gettimeofday(). In Linux 4.19 this was only a wrapper around ktime_get_real_ts64(). Use ktime_get_real_ts64() now that the wrapper is gone to fix compilation against Linux 5.4. Signed-off-by: Martin Blumenstingl <martin.blumenstingl@googlemail.com>
* lantiq: ltq-vdsl: Do not leak user space CFLAGS into kernel spaceHauke Mehrtens2018-03-031-0/+32
| | | | | | | Do not leak the user space CFLAGS into the kernel space any more, this allows us to activate the MIPS16 build. Signed-off-by: Hauke Mehrtens <hauke@hauke-m.de>
* lantiq: fix lantiq applications kernel 4.14 compatiblityHauke Mehrtens2018-02-201-0/+12
| | | | | | | | This is fixing multiple compile problems with kernel 4.14 and updates the code to take care of changes introduced between kernel 4.9 and 4.14. Signed-off-by: Hauke Mehrtens <hauke@hauke-m.de> Signed-off-by: Mathias Kresin <dev@kresin.me>
* ltq-vdsl: fix PM thread suspend and resume handlingMartin Schiller2017-09-281-0/+107
| | | | | | | | This is a backport form drv_dsl_cpe_api-4.18.10 and fixes some PM thread handling issues which lead to high system load and watchdog trigger within 1h of uptime for boards not connected to a xdsl line. Signed-off-by: Martin Schiller <ms@dev.tdt.de>
